AQUA 2008 constitute the perfect venue to receive the most up to date information on the culture and commercialization of aquaculture species. During the three days of the event we will have the presence of national and international experts who will present the most recent trends and progress made in each one of their fields of expertise

TECHNICAL SESSIONS
Aquaculture Diversification
The session will focus on presenting results obtained through the culture of nontraditional aquaculture species. In Addition, conferences on risk assessment of the different culture practices will be included.

Shrimp Health and Diseases
A general overview of shrimp diseases at a global level will be presented, as well as conferences on new technologies for diagnosis and intervention. The use of probiotics and immunostimulants will also be assessed.

Shrimp Culture
The shrimp culture session will include conferences on shrimp nutrition, genetic selection programs, intensive systems and bio flocs.

Markets
Consumer demands in the different markets will be analyzed as well as the existing opportunities with current market trends. The results obtained with organic shrimp will be presented as well as its performance in the market.
